In-person school, book club, community group or library visit within 50 miles of Fremont, CA:

• $100 per one-hour visit
• $400 for a full day (up to 4 presentations, one location; additional fees will be applied for multiple presentations within the same district)

In-person school, book club, community group or library visit 50 miles outside of Fremont, CA (but still within driving distance):

• $200 per hour
• $500 for a full day (up to 4 presentations, one location; additional fees will be applied for multiple presentations within the same district)
• $.30 per mile
• All hotel fees if a hotel is required

In-person school, book club, community group, or library visit requiring plane travel:

• All travel expenses (airfare, hotel, rental car)
• $350 for a half-day presentation (3 hours, multiple locations okay)
• $600 for a full-day presentation (6 hours, multiple locations okay)

SKYPE or GOOGLE HANGOUT visits:
I can come to your classroom or library virtually! This is a wonderful, budget-friendly option.

• $50 per hour-long visit, Q&A session included

What you receive from me

I will come prepared with a ready-made presentation, which I am happy to tailor specifically to your curriculum. I especially like to talk to students about the writing process, which is ideal for English and Creative Writing classes. I also love to lead in-class writing exercises with the audience.
